French law stipulates a specific order for group layoffs:

Anonymous cv´s are obligatory for companies over 50 people. However it is not required to report.

Thanks Steve teacher, his teachings were very useful. The labor law in France actually protects the worker, so hopefully the law will apply in Mexico!

Working hours in France compared to Mexico

Working hours are radically different in France than in Mexico. It works 35 hours a week as opposed to the 40 hours worked in Mexico. When you have made the hours, or do not you finish the job and leave, however, if it continues, then automatically paid overtime. Big difference between France and Mexico!

Termination of employment contract in France: the notice

In France, when one of the parties to the employment contract announced to the other of its decision to terminate this employment contract does not cease suddenly, remains valid for a certain period of time: the notice. Except in special cases, the notice has to be respected by the employee and the employer in case of resignation and dismissal if.

However, they often dispense the employer to the worker performing the notice. In case of dismissal, the employer may waive the notice but the employee must pay compensation in lieu of notice equal to the salary he would have paid if the employee had worked during this period. In case of resignation, any waiver granted by the employer is accompanied by loss of compensation notice.

The notice period is different depending on whether a waiver or dismissal. In the latter case, it may be up to two months (depending on the age of the employee). In case of resignation, it can be up to three months (depending on the collective agreement).

During the notice period, the employment contract continues to operate normally: the employee works for pay, but with the difference that it is entitled to a few hours of freedom to find a new job (usually two hours per day).

Trip to Chamonix-Mont-Blanc

The trip to Paris is a new experience, every day I learn new things. My colleagues are very nice and every time we know more. Today we travel by bus to Chamonix-Mont Blanc and really is a wonderful place, we appreciate the mountain and the view of its various points. The countryside of France is diverse, people do not always treat them well; however I have learned a lot from each lived experience, I'm sure there are still many things to learn and experience.

MY FIRST WEEK IN PARIS

My week in Paris have been very different. People are very different, food, places and throughout the city. I learned about European culture and legislation, which was interesting. EMI thank you for giving us the opportunity to study here. I have known the Iffel tower is wonderful, really amazing to be there. Something that has been complidado not speak French and that people do not understand me. However, I can say I've learned a lot these days.
